Who should attend MMW Volume I?

Making Microfinance Work: Managing for Improved Performance is designed to meet the needs of any individual that manages microfinance operations or is aspiring to do so. This includes senior, department, regional and branch managers as well as managers-in-training. It is ideally suited to be part of a management development program.

Internal auditors also find the course useful due to its holistic approach, which helps them understand how different functions of their institution contribute to success and, therefore, what to measure and look for in the auditing process to support improved performance.

The course may be of use to technical assistance providers, government representatives or funding agencies that are involved in microfinance operations, but it is not designed to introduce such actors to microfinance.  Participants are screened to ensure they possess minimum experience with microfinance operations and the low-income market.
